The location of this hostel is perfect, just a stone's throw away from both the Central Station and historic district, making it accessible to everything. Staying on a houseboat is a really cool experience and the common area in the harbour is wonderful. Despite the small cabins and thin walls, the rooms and bathrooms were surprisingly clean. the breakfast was great, with plenty of food and a wide selection. the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The bunk beds might be uncomfortable for tall people.

I got great value for my money at the Intersail Hostel. The room had a cozy cabin feel and was clean and organized. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main train station, the science museum, and the zoo. The staff, especially Christian and Kristian, were incredibly helpful and friendly.

I had a fantastic stay at Intersail Hostel - Avontuur! The location couldn't be better, with Amsterdam Central Station just a short walk away. The host, Tom, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our arrival from different locations went smoothly. Staying on a boat was a unique experience, and the cleanliness of the boat was impressive. The rooms were exactly as advertised, so there were no surprises. The host even provided vouchers for attractions and food places, making our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel for a cosy and enjoyable stay in Amsterdam.

My Christmas experience at this hotel was ruined by the noisy surroundings. There was loud banging and slamming of doors from other guests all through the night and it continued till morning.

I recently stayed at a unique and cozy boat cabin in Amsterdam. The captain/host Tommy was extremely friendly and accommodating. The central location was within walking distance of major attractions and the central station. The communal areas, like the galley and outdoor deck, were homely and inviting. The showers and toilets were clean, and the water pressure was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and filling, with plenty of options. The host provided vouchers to attractions and there were cheap drinks available for purchase. a delightful stay.
